The Project

Commencing in 2015, this development is a 16 hectare site based in Berrimah located between the major transport routes of Tiger Brennan Drive, Wishart Road & Kirkland Drive.

The project included the construction of civil works associated with the 25 lot development. This included, earthworks, roadworks, infrastructure assets of water, sewer & electrical (underground & overhead), street lighting & traffic signals, asphalt works, stormwater drainage, protection works, signage and line marking.

The works also involved the upgrading of the Wishart Drive/ Kirkland Road intersection from a current 3 way intersection to a 4 way intersection. This also had the added challenge of upgrading the rail crossing to cater for the widening of the roads.

As part of Ostojic’s development of Truck Central, a 3.2 hectare concrete hardstand was built to allow trucking companies to park overnight or use the area as an uncoupling space for single trailer combination deliveries. This area is referred to as the Road Train Assembly Area (RTAA).
