The Ostojic Group

The Ostojic Group is an Australian specialist contracting and service group incorporating civil engineering, transport, quarrying and metals fabrication specialist Tristar. It is a privately owned, family company and has expanded to now have an annual turnover of around $125 million.

Tom and Noreen Ostojic started up the family business in 1972. Long regarded as a quiet achiever, Tom's company has operated in much the same way with many of Ostojic's projects having benefited the Northern Territory, while people outside of the industry knew little about the company operating behind these developments.

Tom worked by the philosophy of doing what others were not prepared to do. Through this, Tom created a company that has the strength and ability to quickly mobilise and to go where others may choose otherwise.

Assisted by his four sons - Simon, General Manager; Stefan, Quarries and Materials Manager; Stojan, Civil Project Manager and Marcus, Transport Operations Supervisor - Tom is provided with the help he needs to manage the day to day running of the business and supervise current projects.
